I’ve loved working on a new website for television and radio presenter Andrea Catherwood, which has just gone live at www.andreacatherwood.com.
I also art-directed the photoshoot for a fantastic set of exclusive photos for her website.
When on screen and hosting events, Andrea often has a very serious and corporate look, so the aim was to get a set of high impact photos which showcase her more natural, smiley and glamorous side. The job included website design and build, photoshoot and also editing Andrea an updated video showreel.
Moving forward, I’m going to be working on Andrea with content for her website to keep it fresh, updated and to position Andrea as the very current, glamorous thought-leader that she is. The posts will be a mix of serious commentary on topical issues, behind the scenes in Andrea’s life (she does some amazing glamorous things) and also news posts detailing all her work projects, be that presenting on Radio 4 or hosting corporate events.
The idea is that whether you arrive at Andrea’s site as a fan, or as someone considering booking Andrea for work or an event, you are left with no doubt that she has both clout, credibility, expertise and also a touch of showbiz, and is the right person for the job.
I stumbled across your website via a link to this blog post and have to say that I love what you do! Unlike a lot of web designers, you really grasp every aspect of what’s required by your clients, not just the techy side of website design and build but the personal aspects that show the real person behind the celebrity image. I’m looking forward to checking out more of your posts! I know where to come when I reach celeb status 🙂
Thank you Jane!! I do try to be a great one stop shop for all my clients (not just celebrities) and I think my background in magazines and papers helps with telling the story and also the photography side of things!
Ah! I am just getting grips with replying to comments!! thank you Jane! You most certainly do not need to have celeb status to work with me!!
I’m no celebrity but perhaps you can give me some pointers to improving my website
