This has been a big old month in the social calendar, with lockdown lifting in time for summer to start. No wonder everyone was keen to look their best! From shampoo that gives your tresses that star quality to a frizz-fighting troubleshooter, let’s take a look at our best ads from June:
Our regular haircare hero
Introducing social media’s answer to those sumptuous, swishy haircare ads off the telly. Well, that’s how we like to think of this ad that we created for Michael Van Clarke. This is one of the most successful ads the Bolt creative team has ever produced for our luxury haircare client, knocking it out of the park on performance metrics from month to month.
We think it’s the silky, shiny hair that stops the audience in their tracks. The LifeSaver difference is hard to deny when it’s right there before your eyes – we’re certainly adding another bottle to our basket!
Our B2B belter
Sometimes simple works best. Some footage shot on site by our agile creative team, a sprinkle of benefits and some pacey subtitles. Went down a treat this month for our client iiaa.
Calling out an audience of skincare professionals by addressing them directly in the creative and copy hits the mark for this B2B beauty client. Welcome back to business, salon owners!

Enter: Hershesons!
Their little blue tube was in high demand in June, and this ad proved one of our most popular.
We took the classic problem-solution social ad format and gave it a stylish twist, with high quality hair shots and a nifty search bar that reflects this audience’s most-searched haircare conundrums. This ad says ‘we hear you’ in a way that relates. Now where’s our Almost Everything Cream?
